I'm giving three stars for a few reasons. Christian came to provide the quote; he was very professional, offered good service, and explained things clearly. We agreed with him that our garage door needed to be 87 inches high, and that the entire 87-inch opening needed to be clear to allow access for our machinery. Unfortunately, during the installation, Martin couldn't achieve the clearance agreed upon with Christian because it was impossible. The installed clearance is 85 inches, which is insufficient for our needs. I'm giving Martin five stars; he was very professional, very kind, provided good explanations, and I'm very satisfied with his service. I'm giving Perry Lamarche one star. He left us a message on our cell phone on Monday. We called him back 15 minutes later and left another message. We left another message on Thursday, and then again on Monday, a week later, we left yet another message, mentioning that this was the third message. Finally, he called us back, saying he'd never called us. My husband told him, "You left me a message with your name and extension 203. How am I supposed to know all this if you hadn't contacted me?" He suddenly mentioned everything, saying, "Okay, my guy will be here at 8:00 a.m. on July 8th." Perry was supposed to call us the day before to finalize the payment and confirm the installation, which never happened. Around 9:30 a.m. on July 8th, we called the company to see if the installer was coming. We were told he might be stuck in traffic, to wait a little longer. Martin arrived at 10:15 a.m. He hadn't been told he was supposed to be at our house at 8:00 a.m. because he was receiving the door that morning and had to unload everything. For good service, Perry should tell the customer, "My installer will be at your home by midday." This would avoid frustration and, most importantly, waiting.
